Birch edge series platforms and stands for audio

Our Birch Series extensional damping isolation platforms consist of a middle layer of 1.5″ thick ApplePly birch plywood (26 ply void free) sandwiched between two layers of our very durable 1/4″ cork material for a total thickness of 2” and 28 vibration killing layers. The cork makes an attractive and durable non-skid surface that gives slightly. The edges on the ApplePly are left exposed and are finished with multiple coats of clear polyurethane as are the cork surfaces.

All platforms come standard with 4 high quality steel spikes that are 1-1/4” in diameter and 1-1/2” tall and include metal floor protecting discs. These extremely dense and inert platforms are excellent for preventing vibrations from reaching your equipment, giving you better sound quality! Use them to improve the sound quality of all types of equipment such as turn tables, amps, pre-amps, sources, etc.

The 2” Birch Edge platforms weigh approximately 7-1/2 pounds per square foot. This means, for example, an 18” x 22” platform weighs about 20 pounds.  Our Birch Edge Series Platforms are available in four colors and four standard sizes. They can also be upgraded to 2-1/2” thick for an even denser and heavier platform. Custom sizes to fit your specific needs are available upon request.
